The verification program
Legacy Vault sends a one-time transactional security code when you ask to verify a U.S. mobile number. The code proves that you control the number before it is attached to your existing, email-confirmed account.
Mobile verification is an account-security step. Legacy Vault does not use this program to send advertising or promotional messages.
Consent and message frequency
Before a code is requested, you must enter the mobile number, review the disclosure, and affirmatively agree to receive the verification message. Legacy Vault records the time and version of that consent as evidence of your request.
Message frequency depends on your requests. We send one code for an initial request and only send another when you choose to request a new code after the resend waiting period.
Rates and delivery
Standard message and data rates may apply.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery can also be limited by your device, carrier, account status, or security controls intended to prevent abuse.
Help and stopping messages
For assistance, reply HELP to the number that sent the code or email Admin@infolegacyvault.com.
Reply STOP at any time to stop messages from that sender. If you later need to complete account verification, contact customer care before requesting another code.
Keeping codes secure
Verification codes expire and may be used only for the Legacy Vault flow that requested them. Do not share a code with anyone. Legacy Vault personnel will never ask you to read a code to them by phone, email, or chat.
Automated or abusive requests may be delayed or blocked. See our Privacy Policy for how mobile numbers and verification records are handled.
Questions and changes
We may update these terms when the verification program or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Questions may be sent to Admin@infolegacyvault.com.
